teach mode is an experimental feature that lets you record yourself performing a specific task on any website so the rabbit AI agent can do similar tasks for you in the future. This will give you the power to create your own personalized agents to handle tasks specific to your needs.

After you are added to the beta program, you need a rabbithole account and a rabbit r1 that is connected to the internet.
- Your rabbit r1 must be connected to the internet through Wi-Fi or a SIM card.
- Your rabbit r1 must be linked to your rabbithole account.
- Your rabbit r1 must be on the latest over-the-air (OTA) update.
Tip: teach mode works best when your r1 has a fast and stable Wi-Fi connection.
Why is my rabbit r1 required to use teach mode?
Your rabbit r1’s network connection is used to make teach mode perform tasks faster and more reliably. Your r1 must be turned on and connected to the internet while you use teach mode.
What websites can I use with teach mode?
teach mode should work with all websites. However, there are some known issues with certain HTML elements and you may see issues on websites that use CAPTCHAs. The rabbit team is working on identifying and fixing issues with teach mode.

Can I log in to my own accounts with teach mode?
Use the login tab to log in to your own accounts before you teach a lesson. You can manage your logged in accounts in the my sessions tab on the teach mode home page in rabbithole.
Tip: Learn how to log in to your accounts and manage your sessions.
Why do I have to log in to one of my accounts again?
Websites choose how long they will let you stayed logged in.
How is teach mode able to keep me logged in to my accounts?
When you use teach mode, rabbit opens a browser window for you in the cloud. All of the browsing activity performed by "rabbits" on your behalf happens there. When your activity generates a browser cookie—as it typically does when you log into a website—that cookie is stored in the cloud-based browser. When you use teach mode to log in to an account, we securely store your browser cookies with Piiano, our third-party secrets management partner. We restore those cookies from Piiano when you teach and replay teach mode lessons.

Why do I get a CAPTCHA or blocked login when using teach mode?
Because teach mode is a general AI agent, websites may misinterpret your actions as bot behavior. This can cause you to see things like CAPTCHAs, blocked logins, and alert emails. Our technology is getting better at solving these issues every day.
Are teach mode and LAM playground the same thing?
teach mode and LAM playground are two different ways of implementing agent technology—which is using AI to perform tasks on the web. teach mode will perform a specific action that you taught it to do on a specific website. LAM playground allows you to tell the rabbit AI agent what to do, and it will attempt to do that action for you, without any prior teaching or demonstration needed.
