- From your r1's home screen, swipe up or scroll up with the scroll wheel and select the recorder card
- Quickly press the side button 3 times to launch the magic recorder
- Or hold the side button, tell your r1 to start a recording, and then let go of the button to start recording
Tip: If you already have previous voice recordings saved on your r1, then press the plus icon next to recorder to start a new recording.
Here are the main functions of the recorder.
- To begin recording: Tap the red dot. You will know the recording is in progress when the reels are spinning and the recording light is flashing.
- To pause recording: Tap the flashing red dot. You can tap the red dot to resume the recording.
- To stop recording: Tap the white square. This will automatically save your recording.
- Add a photo: While recording, tap the camera icon to open the camera, and then press the side button once to take a photo. The photo will be added to the recording at the time stamp when you took it.
- Add a bookmark: While recording, tap the bookmark icon to add a bookmark at the current time stamp. You can also add a bookmark by pressing the side button 1 time when a recording is in progress.

Tap any recording and use the following functions:
- To replay: Press the play icon
- To pause / stop: Press the pause icon
- Find the summary, photos, bookmarks, or transcript: Swipe up / down in the summary section
- To email the summary and transcript: Tap the email icon, and an email will be sent to the email address used for your rabbithole account
- To delete: Press the trash can icon and then tap the check mark icon to permanently delete the file, or tap the X icon or back arrow to go back
Tip: In the summary section, tap a photo, bookmark, or section of the transcript to jump to the associated time stamp in the audio playback.

Use the following steps to find a voice recording in rabbithole.
- User your computer or phone to log in to rabbithole
- In your journal, select the day the recording was made
- Find and select the journal entry for your voice recording
The entire voice recording will available for download and playback. The journal entry will include information like an Ai-generated title, summary, and full transcript of the recording, as well as any photos or bookmarks you added while recording. You can also delete the recording from your rabbithole journal.
