What power adapter should I use to charge my rabbit r1?

It is important to use the right power adapter, also known as a “wall wart” or “charging block”, to safely charge your rabbit r1.

 

Use a 5 volt, 1 amp USB power adapter and a USB-C charging cable to charge your r1. A 5 volt, 1 amp power adapter may also be labeled as “5W” or “5V 1A”.

 

Note: A USB-C charging cable and power adapter are not included with your rabbit r1.

How do I know if my rabbit r1 is charging?

When your r1 is turned off and actively charging, a rabbit running in a wheel will appear on the screen.

How long does it take to charge my rabbit r1?

Your r1 takes approximately 70 minutes to charge from 0 to 100% when using a 5V 1A charger.

How to fix charging issues with your rabbit r1

Try the following troubleshooting tips to fix problems charging your rabbit r1.

  • Use the right power adapter. Your r1 is meant to be charged with a 5V 1A power supply.
  • Charge in a safe spot. Avoid charging your r1 in places with extreme temperatures, like a hot car. The safe operating range is from 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F)
  • Firmly insert the charging cable. Make sure the USB-C connector is fully inserted into the charging port on your r1. You should feel and hear a click when the cable is properly seated.
  • Try a different charging cable. Use a different USB-C cable to charge your r1 to help narrow down the issue.
  • Look for damage on the charging port. If the charging port is damaged, learn about rabbit’s warranty policy.
